I’m Tate Hansen. I live in Broomfield Colorado.

I co-founded ClearNet, Inc. ClearNet is best described as a security and software development boutique. The majority of our work is passed to us via word of mouth and close partnerships. This blog is mostly about work stuff we’ve found, for whatever reason, worth writing about.

I’ve participated in many start-ups. I horribly failed at my first one in which I lost a good amount of angel money invested by close friends. Since then, I’ve run the gauntlet as an engineer at several others until I launched ClearNet in mid 2004.

With luck, I hope to build and sell a few cool applications before being transformed by the coming Singularity.
